Welcome to ACES Builders' Warranty. Many realtors
have contacted us requesting a new home warranty so that a fast approaching
closing may proceed. ACES can help you, your buyer, and your builder.
The home buyer cannot purchase
the warranty, but your builder may do so if he meets certain
ACES requirements. These requirements provide ACES, and your
home buyer, a certain level of confidence that the builder is
a responsible business person and that the home was constructed
in a good and workmanlike manner.
The builder requirements are:
- Builder agrees to build in accordance with applicable
code
- Builder agrees to a minimum of three independent
inspections throughout the building process
- Builder is encouraged to maintain comprehensive general
liability insurance
- Builder agrees to abide by a written Code of Ethics
- Builder agrees to participate in the ACES Dispute
Resolution System
The home buyer must also agree
to participate in the ACES Dispute Resolution System by signing our Builders Limited Warranty Form at closing (included with the numbered warranty booklet).
This is a 10-year Builders' Warranty. It may be offered
on conventional loans or cash sales in Texas only. It can also cover FHA/VA loans if the home is issued a Certificate of Occupancy by the City. The remaining
term of the initial warranty is transferable to subsequent
owners of the property using our easy Warranty Transfer Form.
